Blood Tests
These are carried out at the practice; please make a morning appointment as the hospital van collects at noon.
Child Health (Under 5)
On Thursday mornings clinics are held at Woodbank with Elton Children’s Centre for weighing and advice and Child Health Developmental Checks (appointments sent). Immunisations are held at the surgery.
Diabetic Clinic
Full diabetic service offered by our Practice Nurse.
Minor Surgery
We hold regular clinics to remove minor skin lumps and perform injections for tennis elbow, etc.
Respiratory Clinic
Full respiratory service i.e. COPD, Asthma with Practice Nurse.
Health Promotion Clinics
Cervical Smears
There is a computerised recall system for women 20-65 (three to five yearly). Results will be sent to you by post. If you do not think you need a smear when called for then please let us know.
Smoking Cessation
Visit NHS Smokefree website for more information on help with quitting.
Well Person Checks
Including weight control, hypertension, heart disease prevention, diabetes and asthma check-ups. These appointments are booked with practice nurse.
